The Build
The property had a failing timber wall leaning into the garden — a classic drainage failure. We removed it, excavated to a compacted base below frost depth, and built a crushed-stone drainage channel behind the new wall before a single stone was set.
The fieldstone was sorted by hand on site and dry-stacked so each course carries load to the one below. The result holds the grade, drains cleanly, and looks like it has been part of the landscape for a hundred years.
