Newport County · Newport County, Rhode Island
Stone patios, walls & walkways in Jamestown, RI.
Conanicut Island — water on every side, between the bridges. From our base in Marlborough, Cleiton Landscape & Masonry hand-builds patios, walls, and walkways across Jamestown’s an island of rocky shoreline — set on thin soil over ledge, matched to its shingled coastal houses and antique farmhouses behind old stone walls, and built in ongoing collaboration with Jonathan Keep Landscape Design.
What We Build in Jamestown
Seven disciplines, one standard of craft.
It depends on the season and the size of the scope. Jamestown sits in Newport County, Rhode Island, and we schedule by region so travel and material delivery stay efficient — we will give you a real date rather than an optimistic one.
Constantly. We routinely execute plans for landscape architects and designers, building to spec with millimeter precision — much of our work in ongoing collaboration with Jonathan Keep Landscape Design.
Yes. Jamestown’s old farm walls run right to the water’s edge — the island vocabulary is dry-laid stone, and salt and wind decide how anything new gets anchored. And because the land here is thin soil over ledge, with salt exposure on the open-water lots, we plan the base and drainage for those conditions from the first day on site.
We serve all of Jamestown — from Jamestown Village, Conanicut Park, and Beavertail — and the surrounding Newport County towns, working from our base in Marlborough, MA. Cleiton Landscape & Masonry has hand-built stone patios, walls, and walkways across the region since 2008.
