Stone patios, walls & walkways in Lenox, MA.
Gilded Age cottages and Tanglewood estate grounds. From our base in Marlborough, Cleiton Landscape & Masonry hand-builds patios, walls, and walkways across Lenox’s Berkshire hillsides and broad estate grounds with long valley views — set on limestone-influenced glacial till over marble bedrock, matched to its Gilded Age “cottages” — mansions in everything but name — and estate outbuildings, and built in ongoing collaboration with Jonathan Keep Landscape Design.
What We Build in Lenox
Seven disciplines, one standard of craft.
Constantly. We routinely execute plans for landscape architects and designers, building to spec with millimeter precision — much of our work in ongoing collaboration with Jonathan Keep Landscape Design.
The Gilded Age “cottages” — mansions in everything but name — and estate outbuildings here set the direction, and berkshire hillsides and broad estate grounds with long valley views sets the scale. That usually means hand-set fieldstone and bluestone detailed to look original to the house rather than applied to it.
We serve all of Lenox — from Lenox Village, Kemble Street, and Tanglewood — and the surrounding Berkshires towns, working from our base in Marlborough, MA. Cleiton Landscape & Masonry has hand-built stone patios, walls, and walkways across the region since 2008.
Yes. Lenox’s Gilded Age estates were built from local marble and stone by crews who never cut a corner — that is the standard any new work here is measured against. And because the land here is limestone-influenced glacial till over marble bedrock, we plan the base and drainage for those conditions from the first day on site.
