Stone patios, walls & walkways in Norwell, MA.
In Norwell, stonework answers to wooded, gently rolling lots along the tidal North River and to glacial till with wet pockets toward the river marsh underneath it. Wooded North River lots under rural bylaws. We build the whole range — terraces, walls, walks, steps, and pool surrounds — much of it alongside Jonathan Keep Landscape Design.
What We Build in Norwell
Seven disciplines, one standard of craft.
Yes. The North River is a protected scenic river, and Norwell’s rural bylaws follow suit — stonework here is private, wooded, and built well inside the buffers. And because the land here is glacial till with wet pockets toward the river marsh, we plan the base and drainage for those conditions from the first day on site.
The antique colonials and custom estate homes on large wooded lots here set the direction, and wooded, gently rolling lots along the tidal North River sets the scale. That usually means hand-set fieldstone and bluestone detailed to look original to the house rather than applied to it.
We serve all of Norwell — from Norwell Center, Church Hill, and Ridge Hill — and the surrounding South Shore towns, working from our base in Marlborough, MA. Cleiton Landscape & Masonry has hand-built stone patios, walls, and walkways across the region since 2008.
Constantly. We routinely execute plans for landscape architects and designers, building to spec with millimeter precision — much of our work in ongoing collaboration with Jonathan Keep Landscape Design.
