Stone patios, walls & walkways in Rockport, MA.
Coastal properties on Cape Ann where stonework has to stand up to the ocean edge. From our base in Marlborough, Cleiton Landscape & Masonry hand-builds patios, walls, and walkways across Rockport’s granite headlands and ledge dropping to the water on Cape Ann — set on bare granite bedrock and thin coastal soil — the ledge is the foundation, matched to its shingled coastal homes and historic captains’ houses along the shore, and built in ongoing collaboration with Jonathan Keep Landscape Design.
What We Build in Rockport
Four disciplines, one standard of craft.
Questions
Stonework in Rockport, answered.
We serve all of Rockport — from Bearskin Neck, Pigeon Cove, and Straitsmouth — and the surrounding North Shore towns, working from our base in Marlborough, MA. Cleiton Landscape & Masonry has hand-built stone patios, walls, and walkways across the region since 2008.
Yes. Rockport is built on the same Cape Ann granite it once quarried for the nation — coastal stonework here has to take salt, wind, and freeze, and we build it to. And because the land here is bare granite bedrock and thin coastal soil — the ledge is the foundation, we plan the base and drainage for those conditions from the first day on site.
A natural-stone patio typically runs $30–$60+ per square foot installed, depending on stone, base depth, access, and features. We provide a clear, itemized scope after walking the site.
Constantly. We routinely execute plans for landscape architects and designers, building to spec with millimeter precision — much of our work in ongoing collaboration with Jonathan Keep Landscape Design.
