We buy from New England quarries and yards we have used for years, and we hand-pick rather than take a pallet sight unseen. For Norfolk, that usually means matching color and texture to the antique colonials and gentleman's-farm estates on wooded acreage already on the street.

Mass Audubon's Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary and the adjoining Bristol Blake State Reservation reflect how much of Norfolk is wetland, and an active conservation commission scrutinizes buffers and drainage, so we build to survive that review.
