Stone patios, walls & walkways in Charlton, MA.
In Charlton, stonework answers to rolling wooded hills and open former farmland dotted with ponds, set on the upland divide between the French and Quinebaug watersheds and to stony glacial till on well-drained uplands underneath it. Rural estate lots and gentleman's farms west of Worcester, where fieldstone walls and bluestone terraces are expected to age into the landscape. We build the whole range — terraces, walls, walks, steps, and pool surrounds — much of it alongside Jonathan Keep Landscape Design.
What We Build in Charlton
Seven disciplines, one standard of craft.
We serve all of Charlton — from Charlton City, Charlton Depot, and Charlton Center — and the surrounding Worcester County towns, working from our base in Marlborough, MA. Cleiton Landscape & Masonry has hand-built stone patios, walls, and walkways across the region since 2008.
Yes. Charlton's rural, Right-to-Farm character means large lots, working agricultural land, and a conservation commission attentive to the Little River and Buffumville watershed, so grading and drainage draw real scrutiny. And because the land here is stony glacial till on well-drained uplands, broken by boggy pockets and pond lowlands that dictate where a base can go, we plan the base and drainage for those conditions from the first day on site.
Constantly. We routinely execute plans for landscape architects and designers, building to spec with millimeter precision — much of our work in ongoing collaboration with Jonathan Keep Landscape Design.
It depends on the season and the size of the scope. Charlton sits in Worcester County, Massachusetts, and we schedule by region so travel and material delivery stay efficient — we will give you a real date rather than an optimistic one.
